Welcome to the Gaming & Leisure Association of Ireland (GLAI)

The GLAI, as a non profit trade association, represents the interests of its members around Ireland, both nationally and at EU level. The Association represents private members gaming clubs who provide casino-like services to their members.

The casino sector is currently an unregulated sector in Ireland. The GLAI is committed to securing regulation for its members, by engaging with stakeholders, both public and private, who have a part to play in bringing about regulation of the sector. The GLAI also assists its members by providing advice on best practice as gleaned from other regulated jurisdictions.

Our philosophy is that only through a regulated environment can we assist in promoting responsible gambling, protecting the young and vulnerable, and ensuring public safety.
